Rick Raven

Founder, Lead Producer
(he, him)

Rick Raven is a Los Angeles-based creative, activist, and thought leader whose keen eye for talent and deep passion for storytelling have defined his career as a producer for over two decades. With a background in LGBT rights activism and DEI initiatives, he has remained committed to amplifying powerful queer narratives, making it the core mission of his production company, PBH Creative. As a producer who cut his teeth in the fast-paced streets of NYC, he leads with vision and integrity—fostering collaboration, inspiring his teams, and creating the conditions for stories to be told in ways that might not otherwise be possible. Believing that uplifting LGBT stories is more crucial than ever in today’s political climate, he was drawn to produce The Beard, a film that examines the dangerous consequences of amplifying divisions between people and the extremes of what can happen when certain groups are targeted.
